The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service. This role is essential in ensuring residents and staff are transported efficiently and comfortably while maintaining the highest safety standards. The candidate will be flexible and able to schedule pickups and drop off's based on resident appointment needs. The Van Driver will also perform routine vehicle maintenance and assist with loading and unloading as needed. Responsibilities Safely operate a company van. Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs while adhering to scheduled routes and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting residents with boarding, alighting, and accommodating special needs or mobility aids. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance tasks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition in compliance with company policies. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a secure transportation environment for all passengers. Skills Proven experience in commercial or healthcare setting. Must have excellent driving record. Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, staff, and management. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle maintenance checks is preferred.
