Overview:
Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.Schedule:

Essential Functions:
Drives shuttle vehicles, following designated routes and schedules to transport passengers in a timely manner. Adheres to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the shuttle. Assists passengers with boarding and de-boarding the shuttle. Communicates effectively to provide information and directions. Maintains the cleanliness of shuttle interior and exterior and the proper fuel supply. Monitors activity in parking lots and various areas and frequently performs random patrols of assigned area. Responds safely, effectively, and efficiently (SEE) to all related matters that come to their attention and in the performance of activities as assigned.Education Requirement:
High School diploma, required.Licensure Requirement:

Ability to be proficient in the safe operation of Security shuttle vehicles. Ability to read and comprehend hospital/departmental policies and procedures and regulatory publications. Sufficient interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all persons, regardless of position, ethnicity, sex, age, or economic status.Physical Requirements:
