Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a shuttle vehicle to transport passengers to and from designated locations
  • Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs
  • Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the shuttle, providing any necessary assistance
  • Maintain a clean and presentable shuttle vehicle, both inside and out
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the shuttle
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information and answering any questions they may have
  • Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of passengers and fellow employees
  • Perform a search of passengers personal items pre and/or post trip
  • De-escalate passengers who are having trouble staying focused and appropriate
  • Assist with intake duties with our partnership agencys
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience as a shuttle driver, limousine driver, delivery driver, paratransit driver, school bus driver, van driver, or similar role is preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and assist passengers with their belongings as needed but not required
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must be able to use a tablet/hand held device.
  • Must have their transportation to and from work/depot.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods of time without compromising safety or performance
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug testing.
  • Must be flexible to constant change in route or trips as needed.
