Job Description

A part-time Transportation Aide is open in our Transportation department at Compass Community Connections. Responsibilities include assisting small groups of individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) during transportation to and from the CPS Program. Read and Follow participants Individual Support Plan as it relates to individual's needs. Adhering to individual program participant behavior plans. Completing daily attendance logs, which verify billing information. Working with individuals in wheel chairs and working with a wheel chair lift. Transportation aide qualifications include High school diploma/GED, Valid Driver's license and violation free driving record for at least three years, as well as required Clearances. Previous experience working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities is preferred. Hours will be morning and afternoon hours due to transportation times, Monday through Friday.
