Prospect Position Summary:
The Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments, hospital visits, community outings, and other scheduled destinations while ensuring comfort, dignity, and excellent customer service. Qualifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate Graduated from a CNA training program Valid driver's license with clean driving record required CDL preferred but not required, depending on vehicle type Previous van driving, transportation, or healthcare experience preferred Ability to safely assist elderly or disabled residents Flexible availability to meet changing facility transportation needs Strong reliability, punctuality, and customer service skills Must pass background screening and drug test
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy visits, hospital discharges, and facility outings Assist residents entering and exiting the van, including wheelchair and mobility assistance when needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized vehicle Complete vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly Keep accurate transportation schedules, mileage logs, and resident documentation Follow all state driving laws, safety protocols, and facility policies Communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and healthcare providers Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate service If you're a safe driver with a caring attitude and flexible schedule, apply today and help make a difference in the lives of our residents!
