In this energetic role, you will operate shuttle vans and other commercial vehicles to transport passengers safely and efficiently across designated routes. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle vans, buses, or similar vehicles along specified routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding, and addressing inquiries professionally Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Assist passengers with mobility needs, including loading/unloading heavy luggage or equipment when necessary Maintain accurate logs of trips, passenger counts, and vehicle mileage for operational records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using radios or other communication devices to coordinate routes and address issues promptly Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a secure environment for passengers and staff Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or chauffeur's license preferred but not required Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar roles such as limousine or paratransit services Strong communication skills to interact confidently with passengers and team members Ability to perform light maintenance tasks and conduct vehicle inspections regularly Physical ability to lift heavy luggage or equipment as needed; comfort with heavy lifting when assisting passengers Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and local routes relevant to shuttle operations Prior experience with school bus driving or heavy-duty commercial driving is a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding journey where your driving expertise makes a difference!
