Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated wheelchair vehicle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving roles, including shuttle driving, delivery driving, and commercial driving. This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to safety. The Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers safely to and from medical appointments using our company provided van. Duties Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide shuttle services for passengers to designated locations in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle, performing regular maintenance checks as needed. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and any changes. Load passengers in mobility devices into the van by ramp of the van. Document any incidents or issues that arise during transport for reporting purposes. Qualifications Previous experience as a driver in shuttle services, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers and clients. Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Familiarity with paratransit services is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
