Location:
Hurst, Texas Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Van Driver to join our Pediatric Medical Day Center (PPECC) team. This role is responsible for safely transporting medically fragile children to and from the center while providing a positive and supportive experience for patients and families. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, safety-focused, and enjoys working with children and families. Responsibilities Safely transport pediatric patients to and from the Pediatric Medical Day Center Follow assigned transportation routes and schedules Assist patients entering and exiting the vehicle safely Ensure proper use of wheelchairs, car seats, seat belts, and safety equipment Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly Maintain professional and courteous communication with families and staff Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures Assist with loading and unloading medical equipment when necessary Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Qualifications Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record Previous professional driving experience preferred Experience working with children or healthcare transportation preferred Ability to safely assist passengers with mobility needs Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and compassionate demeanor CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and assist patients/equipment as needed Ability to sit, stand, bend, and assist with wheelchair securement Ability to safely operate transportation vehicles in various weather and traffic conditions Schedule & Benefits (Customize as needed) Full-Time / Part-Time opportunities available Monday-Friday schedule Day shifts only Competitive pay Supportive team environment
