In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating shuttle vehicles to transport passengers and cargo efficiently across designated routes. Your positive attitude and excellent driving skills will ensure a smooth, comfortable experience for all riders while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a fast-paced environment where customer service and safety are top priorities. Duties Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including passenger shuttles, delivery vans, and other commercial vehicles, along specified routes. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers warmly, assisting with boarding and alighting, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition, checking brakes, lights, tires, fluid levels, and safety equipment. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or maintenance needs. Assist with loading and unloading cargo or luggage, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members using radios or other communication devices to coordinate routes and report issues promptly. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as cleaning the interior/exterior and reporting mechanical concerns for timely repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to paratransit services, bus driving standards, or limousine operations as applicable. Experience Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar commercial driving roles. Prior experience with limousine services or paratransit operations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely during cargo loading/unloading processes. Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with passengers and team members. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL license if required).
