SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential functions include any of the following tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. Employees may be required to perform additional position-specific tasks. Must be able to transport and control up to 12 clients at a time, ensuring company policies are followed in accordance with the employee manual. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide supervision of clients. Work independently; at times alone, possess coordination and organizational skills for fulfillment of job duties. Must be able to multitask and manage multiple clients at a time. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and possess good communication skills. Must possess the ability to add, subtract and perform simple mathematical calculations, as well as writing and following specific directions from management. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and relay such information to the appropriate supervisor. Be a supportive team member, contribute and be an example of teamwork and team concept. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with clients, other employees, client family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and general public. Must have patience, tact as well as the willingness to handle difficult clients, family and client personal situations. Must relay critical clinical information concerning a client's condition to the clinical director as soon as issues arise; threats to leave, drug drop off, etc. Must maintain understanding of the Focus Outpatient setting and how reporting procedures work within the client setting, must also have flexibility in learned techniques as state requirements mandate. Focus vehicles; washing, drying, sweeping, polishing, clearing trash, maintains maintenance logs, maintains mileage for each vehicle driven. Focus Outpatient janitorial duties; cleaning, sweeping, restocking supplies, ordering supplies, other duties as assigned. Must have some computer literacy; logging time, reading and printing employee schedules, office memo's, attend company training as required. Understand job duties and work within the scope of employment duties. Willing to adhere to all policies in regard to client safety. Understand this position does not involve clinical counseling of any type. Follow and adhere to client rules, enforcing client rules. Supervising clients at all times while transporting and never leaving unattended in vehicle. Reporting problem clients to the Clinical Director. Effective time management; assessing and prioritizing tasks, working within deadlines to complete tasks. This list is not all-inclusive but is merely a summary of the job duties.

Minimum qualifications/requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files, records, and other office procedures. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware and software, including common billing and office applications. Knowledge of agency policy and standard operating procedures. Driver's license with proof of insurance of required company minimums. Ability to safely operate a 15-passenger van to transport clients. Must be organized, detail oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with CFR 42 Part 2 and HIPPA regulations
