Job Description
Date posted: April 20, 2026 Job description: Direct Program Duties Provides transportation and non-emergent transportation as scheduled within the service area for Greenville Rancheria patients in Red Bluff and Greenville. Maintain the properties/environment in a presentable and functioning manner to include maintaining the lawns and shrubbery. Maintain properties to be safe and free from hazards. Provides transportation out of service area for patients referred by Greenville Rancheria providers to specialist. Demonstrate a high level of emotional and mental tolerance when dealing with ill people. Uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude when relating to patients, families and co-workers. Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality under HIPAA laws and Greenville Rancherias clinic policy and procedures. Keeps accurate mileage logbook, gas receipts, and other records pertaining to transportation services such as; vehicle maintenance and/or repair documentation to be turned in to Facilities Manager. Mandatory vehicle safety inspections is to be done daily and prior to the first transport in the morning. Performs errands and related activities as request or as needed by Transport Supervisor or CMO. Responsible for transport Schedule and working with Transport Supervisor to maintain schedules in NextGen. Responsible for keeping vehicle clean and gassed. Able to understand, be sensitive to, communicate and have knowledge and awareness of the culture of the Indian Community to be served. In a professional and customer-focused manner, disseminate program and Tribal information as deemed appropriate and as instructed by Tribal Council. Such as transportation brochures, patient transportation rules and making sure patients are safe, abide by California motor vehicle laws with car seats and booster seats. Ability to repair minor plumbing issues. Ability to repair minor electrical issues. Ability to perform minor painting and drywall repairs. Must have basic understanding of carpentry practices. Other duties as assigned.
