Job Description

The Division of Trauma & Acute Care Surgery at Henry Ford Health is expanding to meet the needs of an abundant and growing clinical practice at an academic Level II trauma center, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, located in Clinton Township, Michigan. We are seeking candidates who are board-certified or eligible in general surgery and critical care to join our diverse and vibrant team of acute care surgeons and intensivists. Mid-career surgeons have leadership opportunities as Director of Trauma and Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Teaching opportunities included with an ACGME accredited general surgical residency program Academic appointment opportunities are available for those who qualify through Michigan State University - College of Human Medicine as well as Wayne State University Located in the heart of Macomb County enriched with a culturally diverse population of nearly 900,000 people with a thriving economy and a multitude of outdoor recreational activities. Just north of Detroit, it is easily accessible to the cultural, dining, sports and entertainment options in downtown Detroit and its surrounding suburbs.
