Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Travel Stone Mountain, GA, is a vibrant destination known for its picturesque natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and proximity to Atlanta's cultural attractions. As a travel nurse, you'll have the unique chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic healthcare environment while enjoying scenic hiking, vibrant local dining, and meaningful downtime adventures. This assignment offers you the opportunity to expand your professional skill set in a Cath Lab setting, serving adult to geriatric patients. You'll work with advanced clinical technologies, such as Epic and Pyxis, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams committed to high-quality care. Exposure to diverse professional practices and innovative leadership approaches in this setting can strengthen your resume and prepare you for more advanced roles.
Schedule/Hours:
Floating as needed within the facility and to the sister campus as appropriate Every third weekend required Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed 10 call days/month
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active RN license with previous Cath Lab experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Able to circulate procedures, interpret/manage dysrhythmias, administer and monitor procedural sedation Comfortable working with adult and geriatric populations
Key Responsibilities:
Circulate during procedures in a 3-room lab serving an average of 8-10 patients daily Accurately interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms Administer and monitor procedural sedation in compliance with protocols Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care Document using Epic and manage medication dispensing via Pyxis Float between units within clinical scope as needed
