Role Overview:
Engage in hands-on technical support within the cardiac catheterization laboratory, assisting with advanced cardiovascular procedures. Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical team, playing a vital role in both patient care and the operation of cutting-edge imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support invasive cardiovascular procedures; act as scrub assistant, ensuring strict sterile protocols Operate and monitor imaging equipment during cardiac and vascular interventions Deliver patient care under RN supervision; provide clear procedural education to patients and families Maintain and replenish supplies for procedures, assisting in unit organization and cleanliness Document daily activities, patient progress, and outcomes according to department standards Participate in and help shape quality and patient safety initiatives, identifying ways to optimize care and workflows Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in imaging, specifically as a Cath Lab Tech Current, applicable certifications and licensing as required by Colorado regulations Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions Familiarity with sterile technique and cardiac/vascular procedures Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving clinical environments
