As a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care, you will immerse yourself in advanced practice settings, collaborating with expert clinical teams and learning innovative approaches to complex cardiovascular care. Schedule/Hours:

12-hour day shifts Every other weekend required Holiday rotations required No on-call 16 hours of paid orientation

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive care to CVICU patients, including those post-cardiac surgery (not direct from OR), and pre/post cardiac cath/interventions Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and thermoregulation Perform advanced therapy such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, pulmonary artery line management, and valve replacement/repair Manage devices like LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, and provide IV therapy, arterial and central line care Ability to float to various ICUs if needed

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' recent CVICU experience Active IL RN license, current CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Strong proficiency with EKG interpretation (submit test score 80%+) EPIC experience preferred Prior experience with Impella, ECMO, and LVAD patient care strongly preferred Charge RN experience desirable
