Serving at a Level II Trauma Center in this picturesque region offers not only varied clinical experiences but also the chance to build lifelong memories exploring Kentucky's rolling hills and exciting attractions during your time off. With a strong reputation for patient-focused care, this assignment allows you to broaden your clinical skills in a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab while working alongside talented professionals with diverse leadership approaches.
Schedule/Hours:
10-week contract 4x12hr shifts: 7:00a - 7:30p 36/48 hour alternating GSA schedule On call rotation: 6-8 call days per 6 weeks Weekend/holiday coverage as needed Floating may be required As a Cath Lab RN in this 340-bed facility, you'll gain significant exposure to complex cardiac cases, handling emergent and elective procedures. This is a stellar chance to add valuable experience with Epic charting and trauma-level care to your resume, setting you up for even greater professional advancement.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid KY or compact RN license Two or more years' recent Cath Lab RN experience
Certifications:
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
required at submission Proficiency with Epic documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, assess, and manage patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures Deliver high-quality nursing care in alignment with best practices and physician directives Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team Contribute insights to unit workflow improvements Adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a dynamic hospital setting
