Qualifications/Experience:

Active, unrestricted RN license Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong assessment, IV insertion, and cardiac monitoring skills Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with Cath Lab equipment, procedures, and protocols

Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, promptly recognizing and responding to changes Administer medications and manage sedation under established protocols Maintain accurate, thorough documentation for all care provided Educate patients and families on procedure expectations, recovery, and post-discharge care Adhere to infection control standards and safety policies throughout all tasks
