Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Set in the vibrant city of Cortland, NY, this travel opportunity invites you to immerse yourself in a region renowned for its scenic beauty and lively cultural scene. Cortland is ideally situated for exploring the Finger Lakes, enjoying outdoor adventures, and discovering charming local eateries and shops during your downtime. As a Radiological Technologist specializing in Cath Lab, you'll gain firsthand experience across diverse interventional cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures. Schedule/Hours:
Shifts are flexible; specific hours to be discussed during onboarding. This position does require participation in STEMI call rotation.
Qualifications:
ARRT certification or equivalent, with active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist. Demonstrated experience in scrubbing and circulating for interventional cardiac catheterizations and invasive vascular procedures. Knowledge of coronary and peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, and related supplies/devices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to participate in STEMI call as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrub and circulate during catheterization lab procedures, ensuring optimal patient care and procedural support. Properly handle and manage devices and supplies fundamental to coronary and peripheral interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency. Document all procedures and assist physicians as required throughout treatments. Support the lab's readiness for emergencies and participate proactively in on-call requirements.
