Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Travel Nestled amid the scenic beauty of eastern Kentucky, Jackson offers not only a fulfilling work experience but also the chance to immerse yourself in the charm of Appalachian culture and outdoor adventure. As a traveling Imaging - Cath Lab Tech, you'll broaden your expertise by engaging with a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation. Working in this setting allows you to enhance your skills across diverse cardiovascular procedures, gain exposure to various leadership styles, and enrich your resume with unique, hands-on experiences.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 17:30 (4x10-hour shifts) Rotating weekday off each week On-call required: 8-10 days/month (one night/week and one weekend every three weeks) 30-minute response time for STEMI alertsQualifications:
Minimum 2 years' recent Cath Lab experience ARRT certification and Kentucky licensure required (consideration given to those willing to promptly apply upon offer) Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications EP experience highly preferred; cross-training available for motivated candidates Must reside 75+ miles from facility Valid Driver's License required (attach copy with application)Key Responsibilities:
Support table panning and scrub roles in diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases Assist with advanced devices (Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, ACIST injector) Implantation assistance (single/dual/Bi-V pacemakers, ICDs, peripheral procedures) Participate in EP Lab rotations and ablation procedures (training provided) Adapt to varying ratios and procedure volumes (8-10 daily; 6-8 STEMIs per month) Collaborate with a skilled team of RNs and technologists using both radial & groin access techniquesBenefits & Travel Perks:
