Schedule/Hours:

Travel position, flexible schedule based on assignment needs

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy, TEC, rotablator, valvuloplasty, intravascular ultrasound, pulmonary angiograms, and stent placements Prepare sterile trays and organize equipment specific to each procedure Pre-procedure patient preparation, including EKG lead placement, betadine scrubbing, and draping Assist nurses in patient monitoring preparation and emergency supportive measures Calibrate and test transducers for accurate pressure readings Operate power injectors and digital cine technologies; ensure correct storage and retrieval of patient images Download all CD acquisitions to mainframe for easy review Remove procedural sheaths and assist with vascular closure devices for patient stability Maintain equipment, perform routine evaluations, and participate in inventory control Lift, push, and pull equipment or patients as needed, following safety guidelines Deliver patient-centered care, adapted to individual needs and communication levels

Qualifications:

Experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with strong imaging and cardiovascular procedural skills Knowledge of sterile technique, EKG, and cardiovascular monitoring Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments Commitment to upholding organizational competencies and adapting care to diverse populations
