Job Description

Category Nursing - CVOR Tech Job Type Travel Take your expertise in surgical technology to the next level by joining a dedicated healthcare team in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals with a passion for cardiac and vascular surgery who are committed to providing exceptional care.
Schedule:
07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Monday through Friday Four 10-hour shifts per week Includes on-call coverage during nights, weekends, and select holidays
Required Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential Minimum of 2 years' experience in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures Proficiency in both open and endovascular cardiac cases Ability to float as needed to the
Main Operating Room Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVRs) Experience assisting with
Lead Extractions Key Responsibilities:
Prepare CVOR suites and maintain sterile environments to ensure patient safety Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff Operate and troubleshoot specialized surgical equipment Support procedures for a range of high-acuity cardiovascular cases Demonstrate expertise during both scheduled and emergency surgeries Maintain meticulous records of instruments and supplies Benefits of this role include exposure to innovative cardiovascular interventions and the opportunity to develop advanced clinical skills within a collaborative environment.
