Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Advance your imaging career in a dynamic hospital environment, specializing in CT procedures. Contribute your expertise to a high-performing team alongside radiologists, radiologic technologists, and other imaging specialists. This contract opportunity offers direct involvement in a comprehensive imaging department recognized for clinical excellence.
Schedule/Hours:
Day and night shifts available Staffing levels: 6-7 techs by day; 3-4 techs at night, based on patient volume
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required Strongly prefer experience with GE imaging equipment and Meditech EMR RT (T), ASRT or FASRT credentials are a plus Proven CT experience in a hospital or acute care environment Excellent communication and anatomical knowledge; mechanical aptitude to handle and troubleshoot imaging equipment Ability to multi-task and adapt to varying patient acuity, collaborating with physicians and fellow techs
Key Responsibilities:
Operate all GE imaging equipment, including CT, MRI units, scanners, and cameras, as well as x-ray and fluoroscopy machines Perform and process a variety of CT studies alongside MRIs, body scans, and digital X-rays, ensuring high diagnostic-quality images Accurately combine individual images for precise anatomical assessments Work closely with radiologists and the care team to support patient diagnosis and treatment Follow strict department protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards Use Meditech for image archiving and accurate electronic medical records documentation
