As a travel CT Technologist, you'll expand your expertise in a modern medical environment, gaining exposure to advanced imaging technologies and supporting a large, diverse patient population. Professional development is at the heart of this opportunity as you'll work with a variety of imaging modalities and participate in CT-guided invasive procedures, cardiac imaging, and comprehensive stroke protocols. You'll gain valuable insights into contemporary radiology practices and leadership styles, enhancing your adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
Schedule/Hours:
Variable shifts with opportunities to participate in day shift cardiac CT imaging seven days a week. Departmental orientation ranges from 2 days up to 1 week, tailored to your needs and including weekdays even if you're assigned weekend shifts.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in CT; open to first-time travelers seeking to advance their careers. ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT (Computed Tomography). BLS certification required.
Skills:
Peripheral IV starts, venous/arterial and multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging including perfusion studies, colorectal imaging; TeraRecon experience is a plus. Familiarity with EPIC EMR, Philips iSite PACS, and Siemens CT scanners preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT imaging for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations. Participate in CT-guided procedures and collaborate with anesthesia when needed. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.
