Proficient in all aspects of computerized tomography (CT) imaging Strong understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy, with the ability to tailor studies based on patient history and radiologist protocols Experience administering IV and oral contrast safely per protocol Commitment to radiation safety for patients and staff Confident in venipuncture and obtaining vital signs Skilled at recognizing and promptly responding to allergic or urgent medical conditions

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT studies accurately and efficiently, differentiating between normal and abnormal findings Administer IV and oral contrast following department protocols, documenting all relevant patient data Monitor patients' physical and mental condition throughout each procedure Ensure comprehensive radiation protection through proper shielding techniques Support radiologists in sterile procedures, maintain sterile fields, and record important clinical information
