Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Advance your career in medical imaging with a rewarding opportunity specializing in CT. Healthcare professionals skilled in computed tomography are sought for a contract position, delivering high-quality diagnostic care in a collaborative setting.
Desired Experience & Skills:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with CT credentialing Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Previous experience operating CT scanners in a hospital or clinical environment Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Excellent communication skills to work closely with patients and clinical staff Proficiency with PACS and medical imaging software Meticulous attention to patient safety and regulatory standards
Schedule:
Flexible shifts, including potential evening, night, or weekend hours based on department needs
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures suited to physician requests and patient needs Accurately position patients and ensure proper radiation safety measures Explain procedures clearly to patients, maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment Monitor image quality and adjust settings for optimal diagnostic results Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for timely reporting and patient care Maintain detailed and confidential patient records Assist with equipment maintenance, quality control, and inventory management
