Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Deliver exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment by utilizing your expertise in CT imaging. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your clinical skills, ensuring quality diagnostic images and supporting optimal patient outcomes in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications and Experience:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiography with current CT credential State radiologic technologist license, if required by governing board Previous experience in a hospital or clinical CT imaging setting Strong patient care and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the radiology team Knowledge of safety protocols and radiation safety principles
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by healthcare providers Review and verify physician orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate imaging procedures Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and adherence to imaging protocols Monitor patient well-being throughout the procedure, providing information and support as needed Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health record systems Adhere to all facility and regulatory safety standards for infection control and equipment use Communicate effectively with staff and physicians to support optimal patient care Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in CT imaging
