Key Responsibilities:

Assist occupational therapists in delivering effective therapy services for patients within a hospital environment Implement individualized care plans based on patient goals and physician directives Document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes Support patient engagement through rehabilitative activities and education Maintain compliance with hospital standards and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred California state licensure or eligibility to obtain Proven skills in patient communication, documentation, and teamwork Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
