This specialized role allows experienced ICU RNs to gain unique exposure within a Pediatric Cardiac Care Center serving infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with both acquired and congenital cardiac conditions. The center is renowned for complex pediatric cardiology cases, providing an extraordinary platform to work alongside some of the best professionals in the field. Here, you will expand your resume with advanced practices and insights into rare congenital cardiac care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and hone your skills through hands-on experience and varied leadership styles.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' ICU RN experience Current and active NY RN License (NY only) Prior experience in Pediatric Cardiac Care required Proficiency with telemetry monitoring
Certifications:
BLS, PALS, ACLS
(all from American Heart Association), and
NIHSS Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized nursing care and monitoring for pediatric cardiac patients Collaborate with a team of experienced multidisciplinary professionals Perform and document thorough patient assessments, interventions, and response evaluations Champion evidence-based interventions and adhere to best practices for complex cardiac disorders Support and communicate compassionately with patients' families and caregivers
