12-hour shifts Every Other Weekend /Every Other Holiday Position Overview:
In a 13-bed ICU (plus overflow), you will manage critically ill adult and geriatric patients. Expect exposure to advanced critical care modalities including cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and support devices like chest tubes and wound vacs. The unit values teamwork, with PCA assistance and Health Unit Coordinators available at times.Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license (KY or compact) BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred Minimum 4 years ICU nursing experience (open to discussion for strong candidates) Minimum of two recent travel nursing assignments required Dysrhythmia exam completion Strong communication and critical thinking Experience with adult and geriatric populationsKey Responsibilities:
Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Administer medications and manage lifeline technologies Act as patient and family advocate Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care Respond confidently to rapidly changing conditions Provide education to patients and staff Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with established protocolsBenefits & Perks:
