Schedule/Hours:
Night Shift - 12 hours Every other weekend/holiday
Key Qualifications:
Active RN license (compact state accepted) ACLS and BLS required; PALS preferred Minimum 4 years ICU nursing experience (flexible for highly qualified applicants) At least two completed travel contracts strongly preferred Proficiency in managing cardiac drips, central lines, ventilators, chest tubes, and critical care technology Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam Superior communication, adaptability, and critical thinking skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive and ongoing patient assessments in a 13-bed ICU with overflow Manage advanced therapies including ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, and multiple drips Deliver safe medication administration and evidence-based interventions Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and provide family-centered education Respond decisively to rapidly changing conditions and act as a safety advocate
