This assignment provides exposure in a renowned Level III Trauma Center and Level II NICU, supporting both personal and professional growth. You'll collaborate with a skilled team, adapt to diverse patient populations, and expand your skills in high-acuity care. Gaining firsthand experience in a state-of-the-art critical care environment, you'll interact with advanced equipment and dynamic care protocols—outstanding additions to your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts: 0700-1930 Every-other weekend rotation No on-call required
Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum 3 years ICU nursing experience Strongly preferred: CRRT (NxStage) experience Required certifications:
BLS, ACLS
; NIHSS preferred Comfortable with advanced ICU skills (vent/trach, invasive line management, drains/tubes, fresh heart experience) Previous experience with EPIC charting (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Provide expert, evidence-based care to complex ICU patients including surgical, medical, and cardiac/vascular cases Manage advanced equipment: vents, invasive lines, balloon pumps, CRRT, and more Float as needed to intermediate, MSU, ED boarding, or observation units—broadening your scope and adaptability Collaborate with an integrated care team including intensivists, pharmacists, RTs, and unit educators Maintain meticulous and timely documentation using
