Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Experience the breathtaking landscape of Lake Tahoe while advancing your career as a CT Technologist in Homewood, CA. Working weekend night shifts in this renowned mountain community offers not only panoramic lake views but also a dynamic professional journey. This travel assignment provides significant opportunities for growth, challenging you to operate independently and to refine your skills in a high-acuity hospital setting. Work with state-of-the-art equipment, including a Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT scanner, and manage diverse cases—primarily emergency department imaging—on weekend nights. Expand your resume with experience in a facility recognized for comprehensive emergency, imaging, and surgical services.
Schedule:
Weekends only, Friday-Sunday 3x12hr night shifts (36 hours/week)
Essential Qualifications:
ARRT(CT) certification required Previous experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute care or trauma setting Comfort with independent, overnight weekend shifts Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT imaging independently, handling primarily emergency cases overnight Operate and maintain modern imaging equipment (CT, X-ray, MRI) Accurately document patient information and imaging details Collaborate with emergency department staff as needed for urgent cases Uphold privacy standards and provide compassionate care at all times
