Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Experienced CT technologists are sought for a contract opportunity to deliver high-quality imaging services in a healthcare environment. Candidates will be responsible for performing computed tomography exams, collaborating with clinical staff, and prioritizing patient safety and accurate results. This dynamic role requires adaptability in a fast-paced medical setting, ensuring the best care for patients undergoing diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications:
Valid Virginia or Compact state licensure required at time of application At least two years of experience working in a hospital setting with CT imaging Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT equipment and utilizing
PACS/RIS
systems Sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and patient positioning Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members Compliance with current safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities:
Perform safe, efficient, and accurate CT scans as prescribed by physicians Evaluate and process images for optimal diagnostic quality Prepare and position patients according to their examination requirements Document procedures, patient interactions, and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility protocols Regularly inspect, maintain, and ensure readiness of imaging equipment Support a patient-centered approach, responding with sensitivity to patient needs and questions This contract position offers a chance to broaden your expertise within a supportive clinical team and make a direct impact on patient care.
