As a CT imaging professional, you'll thrive in a hospital environment that features a strong, tenured team and state-of-the-art equipment, including GE and Siemens CT scanners. Collaborating closely with the ER team, your work directly supports trauma and stroke cases, offering meaningful contributions to patient outcomes while advancing your technical expertise. Exposure to new workplace practices, advanced reformatting platforms (like Terra Recon or equivalents), and different leadership styles enables you to broaden your resume and cultivate transferable skills.
Schedule/Hours:
Minimal call required 2 techs on overnight shifts Opportunity to float to the main department if needed
Essential Qualifications:
ARRT (CT) certification and valid Florida state license BLS certification At least 1 year of dedicated CT experience Hands-on experience with GE CT equipment (required) Familiarity with trauma and stroke imaging protocols Terra Recon or reformatting experience on any platform Friendly, patient-focused demeanor and AIDET proficiency Comfortable documenting in
Meditech and GE Centricity Role Responsibilities:
Perform standard CT scans in a timely, patient-oriented manner Collaborate closely with the ER for quick turnarounds, especially for trauma and stroke cases Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient needs effectively Support the department by floating if necessary, contributing to an efficient care environment Adhere to black scrubs dress code for a professional appearance
