Travel Become a vital part of a hospital team in Oakes, ND as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT equipment, perform general x ray and pain exams with a C arm, and send studies to radiologists while completing required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

Certifications required: ARRT (R) certified Radiologic Technologist and BLS certification. Must have both CT and general radiography (x ray) experience. This includes IV starts and C arm experience for pain exams. Experience with

MEDITECH

charting system and McKesson PACS is preferred. Familiarity with Toshiba CT, Siemens mobile and general x ray systems, and GE C arm is preferred. Ability to perform a wide range of general imaging studies typical of a rural hospital.

Orientation:

facility provides 4-8 shifts of unit/department orientation or until comfortable taking call independently. Previous travel experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must meet the facility radius and affiliation restrictions detailed by the client.

Scope:

Must cover CT and general x ray duties. Floating between CT and general x ray required. Location Highlights Oakes, ND offers a quiet, rural lifestyle with access to outdoor recreation and regional amenities. The area is within driving distance of Lake Ashtabula State Recreation Area for fishing and boating, approximately 45-60 minutes from larger regional parks and wildlife areas, and about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park region for hiking and scenic drives. The town provides a small town pace with local community events, short commutes across town, and access to larger regional centers for shopping and cultural attractions within a 1-3 hour drive, fitting a quiet, rural lifestyle with occasional urban and outdoor options.

Additional Information:

Average volume: approximately 20 exams per weekday. Department equipment: 1 CT scanner, 1 mobile x ray, 1 general x ray, 1 mammography unit, 1 C arm. Radiology staffing: no in house radiologist and no Registered Radiology Assistants. No lead tech guaranteed on each shift.

Scrubs are not provided; no specific scrub color required. Cancellation policy: facility may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13 week assignment as per client policy.
