Cudahy, WI (100-bed Level IV Trauma facility, 20 minutes from Milwaukee) Position Overview Clinically competent operation of CT and Digital X-ray equipment. Dual responsibilities in CT and Diagnostic Radiology, including patient positioning, image critique, protocol adherence, and radiation safety compliance. General patient care (no neurosurgery or cardiac); hospital-based General CT experience required. Facility Highlights 100 beds, Level IV Trauma Center 2 CT scanners (Toshiba Canon Aquilion experience preferred)Support:
Imaging assistant, transport/patient assist, receptionist, RT, hospitalist, telemetry monitoring/techTechnology:

1:1Patient Types:
General care, hospital-based CT experience Key Responsibilities Patient Positioning & Technique Position patients using immobilization/support devices with tact and courtesy. Select radiographic techniques based on anatomy/condition for diagnostic-quality films. Secure patient history and document for Radiologist review. Image Critique & Protocol Competently position for all exams; solve positioning issues due to physical limitations. Follow Radiologist protocols; review images to determine if additional views needed. Adjust technical factors; identify/remove artifacts; minimize repeats. Communicate normal/abnormal anatomy to Radiologist; evaluate orders using ACR Appropriateness Criteria. Complete annual competencies. Operations, Equipment & Safety Operate CT/Digital X-ray equipment competently; modify factors as needed. Perform start-up/shut-down; daily inspections; report malfunctions. Ensure proper labeling/marking; handle equipment carefully.
