Travel assignment; specific hours per facility need
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in CT (Computed Tomography) imaging Experience following protocol-driven diagnostic imaging procedures Ability to differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy and tailor exams accordingly Strong knowledge of radiation safety, including the use of gonadal shielding and collimation IV and oral contrast administration experience Competency in venous puncture techniques Familiarity with sterile procedure assistance and nursing support within the imaging department Ability to obtain vital signs and record clinical histories Reliable recognition and response to allergic or urgent medical conditions
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT studies per protocol, tailoring exams based on clinical history and physician instructions Administer IV and oral contrast as required, monitoring the patient's condition and following strict safety guidelines Ensure all patient data, including scheduling and clinical observations, are meticulously documented Assist radiologists during sterile procedures, practicing stringent infection prevention practices Provide general care and monitor patients throughout their time in the department Recognize and act on signs of allergic reactions or medical urgencies, assisting with appropriate interventions
