Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic healthcare environment by leveraging your expertise in CT imaging. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated team delivering exceptional diagnostic care using advanced imaging technology.

Qualifications & Skills:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) required. State licensure (if applicable). Previous experience performing CT scans in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong grasp of cross-sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and radiation safety principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with patients. Proficiency in operating modern CT equipment and related medical software.
Responsibilities:
Operate CT scanning equipment to acquire high-quality images as ordered by physicians. Confirm patient identification, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each exam. Position patients accurately to achieve optimal images, adjusting techniques based on clinical requirements. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, adhering to safety standards and protocols. Document procedures, maintain patient confidentiality, and update records promptly and accurately. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver precise diagnostic results. Respond promptly to emergent imaging requests as needed.
