Key Qualifications:

Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through an accredited organization (such as ARRT) Experience operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and safety standards Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other radiology staff Excellent communication and patient care skills Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Role Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans following physician orders and established safety guidelines Ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and provide excellent support throughout imaging Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality at all times Monitor equipment performance; troubleshoot and report any issues as needed Assist with image quality assurance and participate in departmental improvement initiatives Adhere to infection control and radiation safety procedures
