Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Step into a pivotal role supporting advanced diagnostic care as a CT technologist. This contract assignment offers an opportunity to apply your imaging expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT), with active credentials such as ARRT (CT) or equivalent Demonstrated proficiency in performing a wide range of CT imaging procedures, including emergency, routine, and contrast-enhanced exams Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging protocols Ability to interact with patients compassionately and clearly explain procedures Experience troubleshooting and operating modern CT equipment Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills Compliance with HIPAA standards and facility safety procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and minimizing movement for optimal imaging Operate CT imaging systems, adjusting settings based on prescribed protocols Verify patient identification, review orders, and confirm clinical indications prior to procedures Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents, providing immediate response as needed Process and transfer images to PACS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Maintain thorough records, including exam details and patient interactions Sanitize equipment and work areas in accordance with infection control guidelines
