Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Mathias, WV, this travel imaging assignment promises not only rewarding professional challenges but also the opportunity to immerse yourself in the charm of West Virginia's mountainous beauty. Take your career to new heights while exploring inviting trails, historic small towns, and serene parks during your time off. This travel role provides invaluable exposure to a dynamic radiology department, allowing you to work closely with a Lead Tech and collaborate with professionals who utilize diverse imaging and workflow practices. You'll expand your skill set, gain hands-on experience with specialized equipment, and adapt to unique procedural and leadership styles—perfect for advancing your resume and professional journey.
Schedule:
12-hour shifts (7:00 am - 7:00 pm) Every 3rd weekend rotation Holiday coverage as needed No call or standby
Qualifications:
Valid, unexpired driver's license (copy required for submission) Current BLS Certification Active ARRT RT (CT) credential Proficiency in head, neck, spines, chest, abdomen, pelvis CTs, CTAs, PE studies; run-off experience preferred Experienced in starting IVs Familiarity with Merge
RIS/PACS
systems Willingness to float/cover X-ray as needed Prepared to supply your own radiation badge
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Canon CT equipment for a wide range of studies (20 scans daily on average) Start IVs for contrast studies Collaborate with Lead Tech and remote/in-house radiologists for accurate imaging and reporting Adhere to safety, quality, and departmental protocols Participate in a comprehensive department-specific orientation
