Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Take your career on the road to the charming and vibrant region of Michigan City, IN. Blending the allure of Lake Michigan's shoreline with welcoming neighborhoods and a thriving arts scene, this location offers a unique blend of relaxation and adventure. Experience professional growth through immersion in diverse healthcare settings and exposure to varied leadership styles, while building your resume with advanced imaging experience in both CT and X-ray modalities. As a CT/XR technologist in a 10-bed freestanding emergency department, you'll encounter a range of scenarios, enhancing your skills and adaptability. During overnight shifts, you'll gain autonomy in your practice while being supported by clear protocols and updated systems. Collaborate with a dedicated ED team, enjoy a collegial atmosphere, and further expand your expertise with leading imaging technologies.
Schedule/Hours:
Overnight shifts (XR tech partner until 11 PM, independent from 11 PM-7 AM) Responsibilities span the emergency department, inpatient rehab, and Regency unit (low volume outside main ED)
What You'll Need:
Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification Active BLS certification 1-2 years of experience in both CT and X-ray Hands-on proficiency with: GE CT Scanner Philips X-ray Vitrea Merge PACS MedRad contrast injectors EMR experience, ideally with
Cerner Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT and X-ray imaging for emergency, inpatient, and Regency units Operate advanced diagnostic equipment with accuracy and attention to safety Adhere to department protocol books for all scans, ensuring consistency and quality Maintain close communication with the ED and departmental team leaders Provide compassionate care, prioritizing patient needs during high-stress moments
