Category Imaging - CT Job Type Travel Explore the vibrant community of Portage, IN, and enrich your career with a travel imaging assignment that offers both professional advancement and personal adventure. Working in a dynamic 10-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED), you'll gain exposure to a range of clinical scenarios and team structures. This setting provides excellent opportunities for growing your expertise, collaborating with skilled professionals, and adapting to diverse workplace protocols and techniques—perfect for expanding your resume and strengthening your ability to thrive in any healthcare environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Overnight shifts: You'll partner with an XR technologist until 11 PM, then function independently from 11 PM to 7 AM.
Desired Qualifications:
Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification BLS certification required 1-2 years of CT and XR experience with a proven track record of proficiency Hands-on experience with GE CT Scanners, Philips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, MedRad contrast injector Familiarity with Cerner EMR (preferred)
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive CT and XR imaging for the FSED, inpatient rehab, and Regency unit (light volume from the latter two units) Perform a variety of scans using established department protocols—protocol books and up-to-date scanner protocols are always available Foster strong working relationships with the Emergency Department team Maintain accurate and timely patient records
