Job Description

Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts Every other weekend required Holidays as scheduled No on-call shifts
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in CV ICU Active IL RN license, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Epic EMR proficiency Successful EKG test (80% or higher required) Ability to float to other local ICU settings if needed Experience with advanced cardiovascular devices (Impella, LVAD, ECMO, etc.) highly preferred Charge RN experience is a plus Thorough understanding of cardiac surgical recovery, multi-system organ failure management, and invasive line care
Responsibilities:
Deliver top-level care to cardiovascular ICU patients, including those post-cardiac surgery and with advanced cardiac devices Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and provide thermoregulation support Care for patients undergoing complex interventions such as CABG, valve repairs, and cardiac catheterization Manage various infusion therapies, arterial and central line access, and critical medication administration Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple ICUs, adapting to diverse practice styles and protocols
