As a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care, you will work in an advanced CVICU setting within a cardiovascular-focused campus. This placement is ideal for experienced clinicians seeking to deepen their skills by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, navigating leading-edge cardiac care technology, and learning from seasoned leaders in the field. The role will expose you to innovative workplace practices, ensuring you build a dynamic résumé that stands out in any competitive market. Schedule/Hours 12-hour day shifts Every other weekend Holiday shifts as required Qualifications Current IL RN license CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum 3 years CVICU experience Passing EKG test (80% or higher) Recent experience with devices including Impella, LVAD, RVAD, IABP, ECMO preferred Proficiency with Epic Ability to interpret/manage dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and advanced cardiac interventions Charge experience a plus Responsibilities Deliver expert care to cardiovascular patients pre- and post-surgery/intervention, including CABG, cardiac cath, valve repair, LVAD/RVAD, and
CVVHD/CRRT
