Schedule:

12-hour day shifts Every other weekend required Holidays as scheduled No on-call Biweekly pay schedule

What You'll Do:

Deliver complex cardiovascular intensive care, including post-cardiac surgery and advanced cardiac device management (Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, LVAD/RVAD, ECCO, and more) Respond to and manage multi-system organ failure, dysrhythmias, and thermoregulation issues Monitor EKGs, pulmonary artery lines/Swan-Ganz, and

CVVHD/CRRT

devices Administer IV therapy, blood products, and high-level central/arterial line care Participate in floating to additional intensive care units as needed Epic documentation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years' recent CVICU experience Ability to pass an EKG test (80% or higher) Active IL RN license, ACLS, CPR, NIHSS certification required Epic EMR competence and experience with CVICU-focused cardiac devices Charge nurse experience highly valued Strong references and up-to-date skills documentation
