Schedule/Hours:

12-hour day shifts Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required No on-call shifts

Role Highlights:

Deliver high-level care for critical cardiac patients in the CVICU Apply and expand knowledge with technologies such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impella, LVAD/RVAD, and CRRT Care for post-cardiac surgery, valve repairs, CABG, cardiac cath patients, and multi-system organ failure cases Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, thermoregulation, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz Administer IV therapy, blood products, manage central lines, arterial lines, and PICCs Potential to float to additional ICU units within the system to broaden your scope Complete a comprehensive 16-hour orientation

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Illinois BLS/CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum 3 years' experience in a CVICU Recent EKG test (80% pass or higher) Strong Epic EMR proficiency

Preferred:

Charge RN background, experience with Impella, ECMO, LVAD Submission of updated resume, skills checklist, supervisor reference, and passing EKG score
