1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for an outpatient cardiology diagnostic setting in Northern California, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARDMS or CCI RCS certification. Details Outpatient cardiology diagnostic center setting in Eureka, CA Daily caseload of approximately 8 patients per tech 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state of California Local candidates are accepted for this position Epic EMR experience required Requirements Minimum of 1 year of echo/cardiac sonography experience; 2+ years preferred Active BLS certification required ARDMS or CCI RCS certification required; both preferred CCI and RDCS certifications preferred Epic EMR proficiency required Professional license required if applicable Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility RTO requests must be disclosed at time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied Eureka, CA is a coastal city in Northern California surrounded by Redwood forests, offering outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and access to Redwood National and State Parks The city enjoys a moderate year-round climate with cool summers and mild winters
