• Required Experience and Education:

• Associate Degree and/or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program (Education Verification Required)

• Certifications and Licensure:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

• Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to produce two or three-dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses for diagnosis
• Ability to perform echocardiographic examinations, including M-mode, 2 or 3-dimensional Doppler, transesophageal, and stress
• Ability to recognize arrhythmias and take appropriate actions
• Competence in documenting patient and procedural information accurately
• Skill in providing technical comments of diagnostic findings upon completion of echocardiograms
• Capability to educate patients and families about procedures
• Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations
