Category Nursing - RN - EP Job Type Travel Nestled in the scenic foothills of western Virginia, Vinton offers both the charm of a small town and easy access to the vibrant arts, dining, and outdoor adventures of the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains. This location combines a tranquil pace of life with the excitement of exploring renowned hiking trails, lively local festivals, and picturesque downtown scenes during your off hours. This travel opportunity presents an outstanding chance to advance your career within an acute care teaching hospital nationally recognized for excellence in electrophysiology and cardiac services. You'll work alongside top multidisciplinary teams in one of the country's Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma Centers, getting hands-on experience in state-of-the-art cath labs equipped with advanced interventional, mapping, and diagnostic technology. Exposure to innovative workplace practices and varied leadership styles will significantly enrich your clinical expertise and resume.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM-5:30 PM) Rotating late shifts (all staff sign up for coverage when cases extend) No weekends, no standard call requirements Closed on recognized holidaysRequired Qualifications:
Valid RN state license, BLS, and ACLS certifications Sterile field competency and EP Lab experience Previous EP mapping, EKG lead placement, and dysrhythmia interpretation Experience with equipment including Fluro, Siemens, Ultrasound, Phillips, Carto Ensite, Cardiolab Familiarity with isolation precautions and supply management Proficiency with Epic charting Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (based on driver's license)Key Responsibilities:
Scrub and circulate in EP procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and safety standards Provide expertise in equipment handling and emergent cardiac careTravel Assignment Benefits:
